Overview


Modify an archive definition

  1. Access the Archive Wizard by doing the following:

  1. Select Packaging and Deployment > ColdFusion Archives in the left navigation pane. The ColdFusion Archives page appears.

  2. In the Current Archive Definition List, locate the name of the archive definition, and click the Edit Archive button. The Archive Wizard appears.

  1. In the Archive Wizard, identify the data you want to change or add to the archive definition by using these tabs:

 

Tab

Description

Archive Information

Provides fields for identifying optional comments about the archive definition. Additionally, it includes global controls that let you automatically enable or disable all the options available on all the other Archive Wizard tabs.

Associated Files and Directories

Identifies the location of directories and files to archive.

Server Settings

Identifies the registered ColdFusion server settings. Use this tab to include server settings in the archive.

CF Mappings

Identifies the registered directory mappings in ColdFusion. Use this tab to include directory mappings in the archive.

Data Sources

Identifies the registered data sources in ColdFusion. Use this tab to include data sources in the archive.

CF Collections

Identifies the registered Verity and Solr collections in ColdFusion. Use this tab to include Verity or Solr collections in the archive.

Scheduled Tasks

Identifies the automated tasks in ColdFusion. Use this tab to include scheduled tasks in the archive.

Event Gateways

Identifies the gateway instances in ColdFusion. Use this tab to include gateway instances in the archive.

Java Applets

Identifies the registered applets in ColdFusion. Use this tab to include applets in the archive.

CFX Tags

Identifies the registered CFX tags in ColdFusion. Use this tab to include CFX tags in the archive.

Web Services

Identifies the registered web services in Coldfusion. Use this tab to include web services and WSDLs in the archive.

Archive To Do List

Lets you itemize tasks that you commonly perform before or after creating or restoring an archive. For example, you can remind the person who is responsible for restoring the archive to restart the ColdFusion server after the restore operation completes.

Archive Summary

Captures all the information that you included in your archive definition. Use this tab to quickly identify the archive content of a definition.

 

 

  1. After you specify all the information to include in the archive definition, click Close Window. The name of the archive definition appears in the Current Archive Definition List.

 

Tip:  After the archive definition is saved, archive the data specified in the definition by clicking the Build Archive icon.
